Do I need to be home during exterior window cleaning?

No. You do not need to be home as long as we have access to the outside water spigot and any external screens have been removed. If you are home, we are happy to do a quick walk-through before and after the job so you can see the results.

How often should I have my exterior windows cleaned?

For most homes in Rosemount and the South Metro, we recommend exterior window cleaning 2 to 3 times per year. A spring cleaning clears off winter buildup, a summer cleaning keeps the glass looking sharp during the busiest season, and a fall cleaning helps your home look clean before colder weather sets in. If you want consistently clear windows without having to think about it, our Tri-Annual Plan is a great fit.

Can you remove hard water stains from the glass?

Yes, in many cases we can. Hard water stain removal is quoted separately from standard exterior window cleaning because it often takes a different process and more time. We inspect the glass first, explain what we see, and let you know what results are realistic before we start.

Do you clean window tracks and sills too?

Tracks and sills are available as an add-on service. They are not automatically included unless they are listed in your quote or package. We keep our pricing clear, so you know exactly what is included before we schedule the work.

How do pricing and payment work?

Our quotes are based on the size of the home, number of windows, window style, access difficulty, and overall condition of the glass. We offer same-day quotes when possible and keep pricing simple and easy to understand. Payment is due after the job is complete, and we accept cash, check, and Venmo. If you want a fast quote or are ready to book, call or text Eagle Exteriors at (651) 600-9474.

What our exterior window cleaning service includes

Our standard exterior window cleaning service is designed to safely and effectively clean the outside glass on your home. We use professional window cleaning equipment, including a water-fed pole system and purified water, to wash windows from top to bottom and leave a streak-free finish.

This service helps remove common buildup such as:

Dirt and dust
Pollen and seasonal debris
Bug marks and bird droppings
General film and grime
Light surface spotting

Exterior window cleaning is one of the easiest ways to improve curb appeal and bring more natural light back into your home. It also helps your property look better before gatherings, listing photos, parties, or regular seasonal upkeep.

How our process works

We keep the process simple and easy.

Quote: We gather your address and a few job details. We base pricing on the size of the home, the number of windows, window style, access difficulty, and the condition of the glass. We may review the property using photos, Google Maps, or an in-person walkthrough when needed.
Scheduling: Once we understand the scope, we provide a clear quote before booking. We offer same-day quotes or visits when availability allows.
Arrival and setup: When we arrive, we review the job, confirm the windows being cleaned, locate the water spigot, and set up our purified water system and hoses.
Cleaning: We clean the exterior glass using professional tools and a careful top-to-bottom process. We pay close attention to problem areas and work to leave the glass clean, clear, and streak-free.
Final check: After the service, we perform a final quality check. If you are home, we can walk the property with you to make sure everything looks great.

Most exterior window cleaning jobs take about 2 hours once we are on site, although timing can vary depending on the size of the home and the number of windows.

Do you need to be home?

In most cases, no. You do not need to be home during exterior window cleaning as long as we have access to the outside water spigot and any external screens have already been removed. Many of our customers choose service while they are at work or busy with their day.

What is not automatically included

We want to keep our quotes clear and easy to understand. Standard exterior window cleaning covers the outside glass. Some items can be added to your service if needed.

Tracks and sills: Available as an add-on. They are not automatically included unless listed in your quote or selected package.
Hard water stain removal: Quoted separately. Hard water buildup often requires a different restoration process, so we inspect the glass first and explain what is possible before starting.

How often should exterior windows be cleaned?

For most homes, we recommend exterior window cleaning 2 to 3 times per year. This keeps the glass looking consistently clean and helps prevent heavy buildup.

Spring: Removes dirt, salt, and buildup left behind after winter.
Summer: Keeps your windows clear during the brightest part of the year.
Fall: Helps your home look sharp before the colder months set in.

If you want your windows to stay clear throughout the year, our Tri-Annual Plan is the best fit. We also offer a Bi-Annual option for homeowners who want regular service without the hassle of remembering to schedule each visit.

Rain assurance and satisfaction guarantee

We stand behind our work. Every service is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something is not finished the right way, we will come back and make it right.

For homeowners on our Bi-Annual and Tri-Annual exterior window cleaning plans, we also include a 7-day rain assurance. If rain affects your windows within 7 days of service, we will work with you to make it right.
